Up for sale is a 1954 International Harvester R100 1/2 ton pick-up truck. The truck is finished in its original Adirondack Green with Yuma Cream colors inside and out. The paint is truly outstanding and in show condition. A high quality professional nut and bolt complete frame off restoration has just been completed on this very original highly optioned truck. Starting with a complete disassembly of the entire truck and chassis, the truck frame was media blasted to bare metal and sealed with chassis black Eastwood paint. All components on the frame and chassis were restored, replaced or refurbished to better than new condition. Once the frame and chassis were completed, the engine, transmission, rear end and suspension were totally professionally rebuilt to better than new standards. Every bolt, nut, wire, gasket, seal, and rubber weatherstrip is either new or has been replaced with NOS components to factory specifications. A complete correct cloth covered wiring harness was created by Rhode Island Wiring from front to back including the dash harness, engine harness, headlight bucket harness, main harness and rear light harness using correct factory cloth covered wiring and installed during the restoration. The truck retains its original 6 volt electrical system. The truck is optioned with the numbers matching 220 cu. in. 6 cylinder Silver Diamond engine, three speed manual transmission, correct International AM radio, correct heater, interior courtesy light, turn signals, side mount spare, rear bumper, and courtesy flasher. All body panels were sanded to bare metal , primed, blocked, and painted with Sherwin Williams automotive finishes separately, then reassembled. The powertrain is freshly restored and completely rebuilt. Restoration was completed this month on this truck. An absolutely stunning truck freshly restored with test miles only, it is ready to compete in concours shows or for enjoyment in driving on the road. You don't hear very often the words concours restoration and International Pickup in the same sentence, but this truck is a truly stunning example of a concours no expense spared restoration to a level usually reserved for show cars on the lawn at prestigious car events.
